At Lotshotellet you stay like royalty, with sea views from every room and an atmosphere filled with calm, coastal beauty and personal warmth. We are Käringön’s most beloved accommodation – a small seaside hotel where every detail is designed to give you a relaxing and memorable stay.
Individually Designed Rooms
Each room is uniquely decorated in a light and romantic Scandinavian coastal style. Most rooms offer sea views, and all feature high‑quality materials, silent ventilation and solid construction for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Every room includes a comfortable double bed and a fully tiled bathroom with heated floors. We have chosen not to place TVs in the rooms – we believe you will want to spend your time enjoying the island, the sea and everything Käringön has to offer. As our guest, you always have free access to our seaside sauna with a beautiful view over the water.
Sauna – free access to relaxation with sea view
As a guest, you always have free access to our sauna by the pier with a view of the sea.
Breakfast – an archipelago buffet to look forward to
Every morning we serve our generous breakfast buffet on the large kitchen island. Here you will find freshly baked bread, croissants, smoothies, overnight oats, scrambled eggs and waffles with cloudberry jam and cream. We offer delicious cold cuts, fine cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables – and of course several types of herring, as befits an archipelago hotel.
Discounts – when you stay longer and for returning guests
When you stay two or more nights you get great discounts. As a previous guest you also get a personal discount code to use on your next booking here on our website. Prices are always lower when you book directly with us compared to external booking sites.
Adults only – child-free hotel for peace and relaxation
Lotshotellet is a child-free hotel where guests over the age of 15 are welcome. If you book the entire hotel, children of all ages are of course welcome, as are our apartments further down the page.
Traveling with a dog
We have a special room where dogs are welcome. Please contact us before booking and we will make sure everything is right.

SIGNE has romantic wallpaper decorated with roses, is located on the ground floor and is the room closest to the sea. This room is suitable for disabled guests. The room has limited sea-views.
GRETA is located on the first floor and has a lovely west facing balcony, with a nice view of the small harbour and the sunset.
OLGA is the lightest room in the building. It is located on the first floor and has a lovely view facing south, and our own dock just below.
AURORA is the goddess of dawn in Roman mythology. This room is our smallest, located on the first floor. It is also the room with the best view. You can lie in your bed and see the sun rise over Käringö fjord.
ELIN is our largest room with high ceilings and a magnificent view of the harbour inlet and the sunset.
ASTRID is located on the ground floor. The room has a large west facing balcony where you can enjoy the view of the harbour in the evening sun.
